You might not ever think to do it, but its super fast and super easy. I owe this one to Mario Batali. His recipe is different and I was limited on ingredients, but I simply put these mussels into a pot, with a glass of white wine, olive oil, salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes and the juice of a lemon and tossed together before putting them on the grill.
A few minutes later, they were all cooked and delicious. The only bad thing I can say is, even if they are cultivated, they still have some sand, so be careful if you serve them with bread to soak up the self-made sauce.
