Assuming you had last week to live and eat 3 meals each day for the next week what would you decide on?
I think my decision would be simple, it would incorporate a lot of comfort foods, home cooked foods and meals eaten out. Here is my list:
Breakfast: Over easy eggs with bacon, hash browns and toast with strong coffee
Lunch: Soup, thick, from my favorite place with bread
Dinner: Mom’s Chicken Cutlets with Mashed Potatoes
Breakfast: Croissant, Strong Espresso
Lunch: Fried whole potato from La Chinita Linda in NYC, A whole potato fried and served with a little bit of tomato sauce and meat in the middle.
Dinner: Mom’s Meatloaf, baked potatoes, some homemade wine.
Breakfast: Mini Bagel with thin smear of cream cheese, tomato and cucumber toped with thin slice of salmon.
Lunch: Crab cake sandwich with fries from Live Bait with a cold beer
Dinner: Spaghetti & Meatballs, some good Chianti or Nero d’ Avola
Breakfast: Mexican Huevos Rancheros with a Margarita
Lunch: Sushi for sure! IN Manhattan, where it is most fresh, with some hot sake
Dinner: Chinese at one of the better Chinese restaurants. Pupu platter, maybe some orange fish, chicken or beef and certainly with pork fried rice! Some good cold chinese beer or Polynesian cocktail.
Breakfast: Simple bagel or croissant with coffee or espresso
Lunch: Tuna Melt from Eisenberg’s or Tuna on Tomato Focaccia from Eureka Joe’s
Dinner: Homemade Pizza with salad, olives, home made wine or even a Coca-Cola.
Breakfast: Left over pizza, fresh omlette or soft boiled egg on toast with taylor ham, espresso with amaretto.
Lunch: Hamburger, probably a bacon cheeseburger with fries, good American Domestic Beer
Dinner: Paella Valenciana with sangria, or even a T-bone or angus steak on the grill with good beer, steak fries, steak frites or baked potato.
Brunch: Pancakes, eggs, fruit, everything, definitely a Mimosa
Dinner: Ravioli, Spaghetti and/or meatballs, sausage and braciole
Midnight Snack: Popcorn & champagne
Thats my final week alive with what foods I want, of course, I would need a FULL month of food meals to include all my favorites, but this is just an idea if I had to do it all in one week….
