Pan: Olive Oil, bacon (pre-cooked even works better) garlic, hot red pepper flakes. Use frozen, canned or fresh artichoke hearts, add to pan, with water from boiling pasta from the penne. Add lemon juice, freshly grated cheese and you really have a great dish. If you drink wine, definitely drink which with this — I had Chardonnay, but you can find others more appropriate! 🙂
