More rain. The week following Hurricane Irene brought a few days of rest but now its back with a vengeance with another tropical storm dumping yet more rain on top of what Irene brought. The grounds is so saturated, that even with the sub pumps running 24/7, water still leaks into basements. And, I am one of the lucky ones… its just wet carpeting, not even 1″ but who I feel sorry for are those who have low-lying basements or no basements and watch the water rise in their living rooms. We are taking a real pounding here. We’ve had the worst winter, the hottest summer and the most flooding in one year than many before we can recall. Global Climate Change seems to be real, but there seems little hope in repelling it now. How do we proceed?
